I often say I played in a death metal band in high school, but I actually had many bands and recording projects; I once counted them to be over 20. Some of them are no longer online, while others were kind of embarrassing or pointless and I don’t want to share them. Here is a summary of what I consider my three strongest efforts:
Scopata di Morte: My main band, I played drums. We played ~75 live shows over ~2 years, including two short Eastern-U.S. tours. We also opened for Sonata Arctica, The Black Dahlia Murder, Goatwhore, and others. We recorded several demo CD’s and a full-length album. Myspace page with songs, live video, demo cover.
Necropolis: I played drums. Also death metal but more thrash and maybe more technical than Scopata. This band included both of my brothers. Musically more impressive than Scopata, IMO, but much less touring ambition. We recorded several demo CD’s. Myspace page with songs.
The Life and Times of Harrison Ford: I played drums and did vocals. It started as a straight-up parody of some metalcore bands but developed into a pretty diverse band. More of a recording project, this band played live only a handful of times. We recorded about 6 songs. Myspace page with songs.
